Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your shop physically at?

On our property in a separate building. Sometimes we are a mobile bike shop too depending on the event or need (we also rescue gravel bikers stuck 15 miles out in the desert). For 2026, we will have a trailer with a bunch of stuff in it at races.

Why do you not have big glass front shop downtown?

The town of Moses Lake does not have the strongest cycling community. Commercial building rents are not cheap, and security issues are always a problem. There isn't enough bicycle business around our area to justify a full-time bike shop, though people try. The cycling industry is full of ups and downs, and many shops are out of business across the country. We are a little shop working part time with low overhead. By not having thousands in inventory and thousands per month in building rent we don't have to sweat it out. And no one beats Wally World in bike sales. We also specialize in a niche of a niche in the world of bicycles, BMX racing. You won't find what we do at the majority of bike shops.

Do we have it in stock?

We don't want to build a warehouse in our backyard to stockpile inventory that might not sell and then have to sell at a loss later. We understand retail is impulse driven and you want to see it, touch it, and get it today. We always stock the necessities for repair jobs and upgrades. The rest we can order for you, and we'll work to get you the best price. Ordering through us means you aren't ordering blindly; we'll help you choose the right part. Most stuff drop shipped to your house.

What forms of payment do we take?

We invoice with Square. We accept cash, PayPal, Venmo, cards through Square (Visa, Master Card, Amex, Discover) Gold, Diamonds, Platinum, Silver, and Uranium.

Do we offer financing?

Not directly. We take PayPal and Venmo and they offer financing. We also use Square, and they offer AfterPay. If you choose that option we add a small fee to offset the costs to us.

Do we offer discounts?

We offer discounts for USA BMX members, Active/Vet/Retired military, First Responders, and non-profit BMX associations that are running a track.

Do we take bike trade-ins if buying a new bike?

It depends on what are you buying and what are you trading.

Will you help figure out the kind of BMX race bike I want and help buy it or help build it for me?

Yes.

Can you fix gear shifters and the gear changing thing?

Yes.

Do you work on e-bikes?

It depends. Fix a popped tube? Sure. New chain? Sure. Electrical problems? We'll look at it, but we make no guarantees if we can repair it. E-bikes vary in quality, type, and rider usage. Based on our experience many e-bikes are not economically repairable. Most e-bikes become scrap once electrical problems occur. The majority of e-bike companies do not partner with bike shops for warranty work or repairs. E-bikes are caveat emptor and price doesn't always equal better when it comes to e-bikes.
